Alan R. Christensen is the President and Head of Investment Risk and ESG at Fayez Sarofim & Co. Mr. Christensen is a member of the Fayez Sarofim & Co.’s Executive and Investment Committees.
In addition to overseeing the Firm’s marketing, client service, operations and technology initiatives, Mr. Christensen is a co-manager of the mutual funds that Fayez Sarofim & Co. manages for BNY Mellon, the Sarofim Equity Fund and the Sarofim Global Equity Fund. He is also a portfolio manager for a variety of institutional and high net worth clients. Mr. Christensen joined the Firm in 2005 as an Associate. Over the years, areas of research and responsibility have included companies in the technology and industrials sectors.
Mr. Christensen received a M.B.A. with Distinction from Cornell University in 2005, where he was a Park Fellow and a B.A. in Economics and History from Washington & Lee University in 1995, where he graduated cum laude. Prior to joining Fayez Sarofim & Co., he was employed with Alvarez & Marsal as a Director and Accenture as a Senior Manager in Capital Markets. He currently serves as a Director of Sarofim ICAV and Sarofim Trust Company. Mr. Christensen is a graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Leadership Forum and is a member of YPO (Young President’s Organization.) He previously served on the boards of Annunciation Orthodox School, Palmer Memorial Endowment Fund and the Tompkins County Community Foundation.
Angela Wu is an analyst on the Artisan Partners Growth Team. In this role, she conducts fundamental research, primarily focusing on internet and media companies.
Prior to joining Artisan Partners in October 2022, she was head of corporate strategy with Snap Inc. (Snapchat). Before that, Angela was a partner covering global internet, software, and consumer companies with EMS Capital, a fundamental research-driven long-short equity hedge fund. Earlier in her career, Angela was an associate at Warburg Pincus and an analyst at Goldman Sachs. Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Yale University.
Christopher Rossbach is a Co-Founder, Managing Partner and the CIO of J. Stern & Co., a global independent asset manager based in London, New York, Malta and Zurich. He is the portfolio manager of the Firm’s World Stars Global Equity strategy.
The World Stars strategy invests in a concentrated portfolio of 20-30 high-quality global companies selected with a fundamental, research-intensive, long-term and unconstrained investment framework.
Chris holds a BA from Yale University, where he was a Humanities major and awarded the Scott prize (1873) for modern languages, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He is Chair of the Warburg Charitable Trust of the Warburg Institute, Chair of the Investment Committee of the University of London, and a member of the Atlantik-Brücke, an association of German business and political leaders, in Berlin.
Together with Jérôme Stern, Chris co-founded J. Stern & Co. in 2012. Prior to 2012, he founded Merian Capital where he was Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager. He also worked in London for Magnetar Capital, Lansdowne Partners and Perry Capital. He started his career in investment banking at Lazard Frères in New York.
Kunal is Co-Portfolio Manager for Global Emerging Markets Equities at GIB Asset Management. Kunal has over 10 years of experience in investing in Emerging and Frontier Markets, having most recently been a Partner at Mobius Capital Partners.
Prior to Mobius Capital Partners, he was the Lead Manager of the award-winning Neptune India Fund as Head of Indian Equities, and also served as a portfolio manager on the Neptune Global Emerging Markets Fund. Kunal graduated from Oxford University with a first-class degree in Economics and Management and is a CFA Charterholder.
Fabio heads the Listed Equity Manager Research team at WTW, leading the global research efforts across active, smart beta and passive equity strategies. As part of his role, Fabio is a member of the Equity Investment Committee, tasked with managing WTW’s equity funds and discretionary equity portfolios. Fabio also works as lead advisor to several large institutional investors on their equity portfolios.
Prior to joining WTW, Fabio worked with JPMorgan Asset Management as investment analyst in its multi-manager division. He previously worked as a sell-side analyst at Banca IMI. Fabio has a MSc in Economics and Finance from the Bocconi University in Milan and is a CFA charterholder.
Morgan Samet is Managing Partner and Co-Head of the Lingotto Innovation Strategy. Morgan has 20 years of private and public market investing experience, having executed or managed 50+ investments across a wide range of sectors, geographies, and asset sizes.
She has built an extensive sourcing and advisory network and has been an invited speaker to investment panels at Harvard, MIT, Pennsylvania State University, and Italian Tech Week. Prior to Lingotto, Morgan worked at Belfer Management, Pzena, THL Partners, and Goldman Sachs. Although classically trained, Morgan grew up in a family of creatives and has spent much of her life challenging traditional thinking and norms. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School where she was selected as a Rock and Lebor Fellow for entrepreneurship.
Jeffrey Everett is the founding partner of Tectonic Investors, a firm that specializes in identifying and capitalizing on transformative forces shaping global markets.
With over 30 years of global investment management experience, he has led high-performing teams from the Bahamas, the United States, and China, delivering long-term value for institutional and high-net-worth investors. His investment philosophy was shaped by nearly 20 years working alongside legendary investor Sir John Templeton, where he developed a deep understanding of global markets.
A recognized voice in global investing, Mr. Everett has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, and PBS and has been profiled in numerous financial publications, including the book The Winner’s Circle.
Beyond investing, he is dedicated to philanthropy, serving as a director and past president of the Lyford Cay Foundation, and currently serving as a Trustee and Executive Committee member of the John Templeton Foundation.
Mr. Everett holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Pennsylvania State University and is a CFA charterholder. He and his wife, Gillian, are the proud parents of four daughters.
Christina Malbon, CFA has worked as a Research Analyst with Samantha McLemore since 2013 and as Assistant Portfolio Manager on the Opportunity Trust since 2023.
Christina has a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn., where she studied abroad in both Belgium and Italy, focusing on international business, politics and economics. Christina completed a Master’s in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management at Imperial College in London. She previously worked as a Financial Analyst intern at Dobbs Equity Partners LLC and an Investment Research Group intern at Duncan-Williams Inc. She earned her CFA designation in 2017.
Paul Johnson launched Nicusa Investment Advisors in 2012 to advise CEOs and Boards of Directors on dealing with operational and financial strategy, capital allocation, shareholder value creation, and corporate communications. Paul applies his 35 years of experience as an investment professional, combined with his 25 years as a business school professor, to help senior managers address these critical strategic issues.
Paul is the founding partner and investment manager of Nicusa Capital Partners, a private investment partnership that he started in 2003. As an investor, Paul has invested in virtually all sectors of the economy.
Prior to founding Nicusa, Paul was a Managing Director in the Equity Research Department of Robertson Stephens. In his 20 years as a sell-side research analyst, Paul analyzed all sectors of the technology industry and participated in more than 100 venture capital investments and investment banking transactions in his career.
As an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School, Paul has taught 38 semester-long courses on securities analysis and value investing to more than 1,900 students. Paul received the Commitment to Excellence award from both the 2016 and 2017 Executive MBA graduating classes in recognition of his outstanding commitment to their educational experience as well as the Dean’s Prize for Teaching Excellence in April 2017. Paul is also an Adjunct Professor at the Gabelli School of Business, Fordham University, where he teaches Value Investing, and a Fellow to the Gabelli Center for Global Security Analysis at Fordham University. Paul received the Gabelli School of Business’ graduate-level Dean’s Award for Faculty Excellence in April 2017.
Paul is co-author with Paul Sonkin of Pitch the Perfect Investment, The Essential Guide to Winning on Wall Street, scheduled to be published in July 2017. Paul is a contributing annotator to The Most Important Thing, Illuminated, by Howard Marks, co-authored the history of value investing in Columbia Business School: A Century of Ideas, a book celebrating the school’s 100-year anniversary, and co-authored The Gorilla Game, Picking Winners in High Technology, which reached Business Week’s best seller list and was the number one best-selling investment book on Amazon.com for several weeks in 1998.
Paul has an MBA in Finance from the Executive Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
