James Anderson is Managing Partner and CIO of the Lingotto Innovation Strategy. James has over 40 years of investment experience. He was a partner of Baillie Gifford for 30+ years with approximately twenty years as the lead manager of the flagship portfolios of Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust and the Vanguard International Growth Fund and aggregate portfolio responsibilities of over $100bn. 

He led the push into high growth but long-term investing in private as well as public companies which led to large and early investments in companies such as Amazon, Bytedance, Alibaba, Tesla, ASML and Spotify and more recently Nvidia. He is also a Senior Advisor to Antler, a Trustee of Johns Hopkins University and a Foundation Fellow of University College, Oxford.

Tania founded Fithian in 2016. Prior to Fithian, Tania co-managed Davis Advisors’ Global and International Funds for twelve years from inception. Previously, she spent a decade as a senior analyst at Ruane, Cunniff (Sequoia Fund), was an associate editor and investigative reporter at Forbes, and trained as an international lending officer at Bankers Trust. 

 

She speaks several languages, received her early education in Europe, earned her BA at Middlebury College, and is committed to supporting the arts. She serves on the board of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

Elias is a portfolio manager in Ninety One’s Quality investment team, based in New York. He is lead portfolio manager of the International Franchise strategy and portfolio manager of the Global Franchise strategy. In addition, he is responsible for global equity idea generation and research. 

 

Prior to joining the firm, Elias was a managing director at Thornburg Investment Management where he worked as an associate portfolio manager for the Thornburg Global Opportunities Fund. His previous role was with Dodge & Cox where he was responsible for global equity research in the capital goods, medical devices and chemicals sectors. Elias started his career as an investment banking analyst in the healthcare group of Lehman Brothers / Barclays Capital. Elias received an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from Brigham Young University (magna cum laude) where he was a presidential scholar.

Angela Wu is an analyst on the Artisan Partners Growth Team. In this role, she conducts fundamental research, primarily focusing on internet and media companies.

Prior to joining Artisan Partners in October 2022, she was head of corporate strategy with Snap Inc. (Snapchat). Before that, Angela was a partner covering global internet, software, and consumer companies with EMS Capital, a fundamental research-driven long-short equity hedge fund. Earlier in her career, Angela was an associate at Warburg Pincus and an analyst at Goldman Sachs. Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Yale University.

Morgan Samet is Managing Partner and Co-Head of the Lingotto Innovation Strategy. Morgan has 20 years of private and public market investing experience, having executed or managed 50+ investments across a wide range of sectors, geographies, and asset sizes. 

She has built an extensive sourcing and advisory network and has been an invited speaker to investment panels at Harvard, MIT, Pennsylvania State University, and Italian Tech Week. Prior to Lingotto, Morgan worked at Belfer Management, Pzena, THL Partners, and Goldman Sachs. Although classically trained, Morgan grew up in a family of creatives and has spent much of her life challenging traditional thinking and norms. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School where she was selected as a Rock and Lebor Fellow for entrepreneurship.

Fabio heads the Listed Equity Manager Research team at WTW, leading the global research efforts across active, smart beta and passive equity strategies. As part of his role, Fabio is a member of the Equity Investment Committee, tasked with managing WTW’s equity funds and discretionary equity portfolios. Fabio also works as lead advisor to several large institutional investors on their equity portfolios. 

 

Prior to joining WTW, Fabio worked with JPMorgan Asset Management as investment analyst in its multi-manager division. He previously worked as a sell-side analyst at Banca IMI. Fabio has a MSc in Economics and Finance from the Bocconi University in Milan and is a CFA charterholder.

David Souccar joined Vontobel in April 2007. His role as Senior Research Analyst within Quality Growth also includes Portfolio Manager since June 2016. His current responsibilities entail managing the International Equity strategy and conducting research analysis on individual stocks, which may be included in the portfolios managed within Quality Growth. He focuses on the energy, industrials, real estate, and utilities sectors.

 

David received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá in Brazil.

Jennifer L. Foster is Co-Chief Investment Officer at Chilton Investment Company, Inc. where she has worked for 27 years. Jennifer’s previous roles at Chilton include equity analyst, Director of Research, and Portfolio Manager. During her tenure at Chilton, Jennifer has served on the Risk Committee, the Responsible Investment Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors.

Prior to Chilton, Jennifer worked at GE Capital as part of GE’s Financial Management Training program.  She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English from Boston College and earned an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Center for Excellence in Investment Management at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and as a trustee for the Mather Homestead Foundation in Darien, CT. Jennifer is married and has three grown sons.

Sid Jain serves as the Deputy Portfolio Manager for all GQG Partners’ public equity investment strategies. As a member of the Portfolio Management team, he assists with the research, securities selection, portfolio construction and risk management. He initially joined the firm in 2021 as an analyst with a focus on Global, International, US, and Emerging Markets. 

He joined GQG Partners from Warburg Pincus, where he served as a Private Equity Associate in their industrial and business services group. His career began as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at PJT Partners. Mr. Jain holds his BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Alan R. Christensen is the President and Head of Investment Risk and ESG at Fayez Sarofim & Co. Mr. Christensen is a member of the Fayez Sarofim & Co.’s Executive and Investment Committees. 

In addition to overseeing the Firm’s marketing, client service, operations and technology initiatives, Mr. Christensen is a co-manager of the mutual funds that Fayez Sarofim & Co. manages for BNY Mellon, the Sarofim Equity Fund and the Sarofim Global Equity Fund. He is also a portfolio manager for a variety of institutional and high net worth clients. Mr. Christensen joined the Firm in 2005 as an Associate. Over the years, areas of research and responsibility have included companies in the technology and industrials sectors. 

Mr. Christensen received a M.B.A. with Distinction from Cornell University in 2005, where he was a Park Fellow and a B.A. in Economics and History from Washington & Lee University in 1995, where he graduated cum laude. Prior to joining Fayez Sarofim & Co., he was employed with Alvarez & Marsal as a Director and Accenture as a Senior Manager in Capital Markets. He currently serves as a Director of Sarofim ICAV and Sarofim Trust Company. Mr. Christensen is a graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future Leadership Forum and is a member of YPO (Young President’s Organization.) He previously served on the boards of Annunciation Orthodox School, Palmer Memorial Endowment Fund and the Tompkins County Community Foundation.

Chris is a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of the Firm.  Chris is also the portfolio manager of the Firm’s World Stars investment strategy. Chris delivers long-term investments for the Stern family and for the firm’s clients based on the same principles he has successfully implemented over his investment career. 

As a Managing Partner, Chris leads the firm’s investment practice to deliver value to our clients.

Chris has 23 years of financial services experience of which 19 years investing in stocks based on a fundamental value approach with Merian Capital, Magnetar, Lansdowne Partners and Perry Capital. Prior to that he was in investment banking with Lazard Frères in New York.

Chris speaks German, English, French and Spanish. He holds a BA from Yale University and a MBA from Harvard Business School.  Chris also chairs and is a trustee of the Warburg Charitable Trust.

Consuelo Mack has a long and distinguished career in business journalism. In 2005 she struck out on her own to launch her dream program, a weekly half-hour program on public television devoted to helping Americans build and protect their wealth over the longterm.

Before developing WealthTrack, Mack spent over a decade at The Wall Street Journal as the Anchor and Managing Editor of its weekly, syndicated business program, “The Wall Street Journal Report.” During her tenure it won the Overseas Press Club award, the Gracie award and was nominated for a News and Documentary Emmy award for excellence in background and analysis. Mack’s international experience includes being the Anchor and Editor of “The Asian Wall Street Journal Report,” a weekly business program syndicated throughout Asia. Mack also played a critical role in CNBC’s strategic alliance with Dow Jones, the parent company of The Wall Street Journal. Anchor of a morning show, reporter for a daily “Strategy Session”, she also anchored “Louis Rukeyser’s Wall Street” in its final months on both CNBC and PBS.

She has received several honors including the first Lifetime Achievement Award for Women in Print and Electronic Financial Journalism from the Women’s Economic Roundtable and the

Malcolm S. Forbes Public Awareness Award. In 2014 she was given the YMCA of Greater New York’s Dodge Award, a recognition presented to outstanding individuals who epitomize their tradition of humanitarian service. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the

Board of the Museum of American Finance, the YMCA of Greater New York Board Emeritus, and a former member of the Economic Club of New York and The Women’s Forum.

Prior to her television career, Mack worked for several prominent research and money management firms, including Mitchell Hutchins and Merrill Lynch. She is a member of the Economic Club of New York, the Council on Foreign Relations, and The Women’s Forum and is a board member of the YMCA of Greater New York.    

She has received several honors, including the first Lifetime Achievement Award for Women in Print and Electronic Financial Journalism from the Women’s Economic Roundtable and the Malcolm S. Forbes Public Awareness Award. Mack graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature, History, and Political Science.

James is an experienced Emerging Markets portfolio manager with 20 years of investing experience. He is the founder of Ethos Investment Management, which invests in EM Equities and manages approximately $100M.  Previously, James was the Director & Senior Portfolio Manager of the EM SMID Cap fund at APG Asset Management, where he managed a ~$1.2B portfolio, one of the largest EM SMID cap funds in the world.  

 

From 2013 to 2016, James was the Lead Portfolio Manager at Kayne Anderson Rudnick’s EM Small Cap fund (ticker VIESX), a Morningstar 5-Star rated fund that was awarded 2015’s “Best Fund Product for High Net Worth Clients” by Private Asset Management. Previously James was Senior Analyst at Westwood Global Investments from 2005-2013. 

James is a CFA charterholder. He is also the founder of the global non-profit, Young Investors Society (www.yis.org) which provides lessons on investing to over 2,600 high schools in 80 countries around the world.   James has an undergraduate degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish and has lived in Brazil and Hong Kong, and currently lives in Springville, Utah with his wife and five kids.
