Sunil Thakor – Sands Capital

Sunil H. Thakor, CFA is a Research Analyst and a Co-Portfolio Manager of the Sands Capital Global Leaders and International Growth strategies. Sands Capital is an active, long-term investor in leading innovative businesses, globally. Mr. Thakor joined Sands Capital in 2006 and has held responsibilities for company research in a variety of sectors, including leading the research efforts of the firm’s Global Financial Services Sector Team. In 2008, Mr. Thakor helped develop the firm’s first global portfolio as Co-Portfolio Manager of the Global Growth strategy. He later helped create and launch Global Leaders (2017) and International Growth (2018), and serves as a Co-Portfolio Manager of both strategies. Mr. Thakor earned a BA from Colby College (1999) and an MBA from Columbia Business School from Columbia University (2006).
